I have basted the ribbon trim to the waist of the red dress,
I have also prick stitched the zip, the only thing left to do is stitch the hem and stitch the ribbon on the hem! Yay!
It was not all plain sailing, I tried the dress for fit and realised it was way too big around the back of the neck, I had to completely remake the bodice, make the smaller size and do a full bust adjustment! lol
The one thing I did learn about having a dressmaking blog, don't post photos until you have actually finished the garment, otherwise you may keep your readers waiting a year to see the end result!

I just need to stitch up the hem and trim with ribbon.
